MDS 3.0 Specific Data and Definitional Changes Impacting Formulation - Including High-risk Medications and High-acuity Services

Starting in the summer of 2023, skilled nursing facilities will need to prepare for the October 1, 2023, conversion to the MDS 3.0 1.18.11 dataset. This includes adjustments to internal systems, preparing documentation processes, and training staff and managers. The training schedule should include new definitions, time frames, documentation changes, and new data items. This session will outline a systematic approach to training and competency documentation.
